Almost Za’atar Spice Blend

A wondrous herb and spice blend that originates from the Eastern shores of the Mediterranean. Za’atar is most frequently used as a table condiment, sprinkled on food, cooked into bread or stirred into olive oil as a dip. It has an amazingly unique flavour that is both aromatic and tangy at the same time. Traditionally made with dried thyme, ROASTED SESAME, cumin and sumac our blend adds a little lemon pepper for a touch more heat – therefore ‘Almost Za’atar’.
